I would do your research before you buy from Ashley, the products may look great but its how a company conducts themselves when an issue does come up that makes the difference.Based out of Trenton, New Jersey, Meridian Furniture is one the top direct importers of fine furniture in the United States. So, we decide to call and see if we can escalate the issue and the call center literally tells us that “he is just going to cancel the appointment again so it wont do any good to schedule another appointment”, so, we ask that he just call us… that was a week ago. We waited around all day because they wont commit to even a reasonable 2-3 hour time block, you are just expected to wait all day on the off chance they show up…which of course they never did. So instead of showing up to get some eyes on the problem, they just ghost us. Apparently he is all knowing and knows exactly what part we need without ever coming to look at our couch. We open a service ticket, schedule an appointment, and the Service Manager cancels our appointment without telling us because according to their records, he noted that he needs to get the part in before coming to our home. Our couch recliner is falling apart and we have owned it less than a year. The Ashley Furniture Store Service Department is an absolute joke! This is the first negative review I have ever done but I have no other choice, the Service Manager needs to held accountable for the way his department is being managed. Then to have confirmation of delivery scheduled and then a no show when you have taken time off work is a terrible display of a company’s integrity and value of its customers. It should not take four and a half months to get furniture. After spending over $6,200 on furniture and be treated this way is unacceptable.Īnd with a company as large as Ashley you would think they would have better customer service and be able to supply what they have sold. But this has gotten to a point of ridiculous and I truly regret giving Ashley Furniture our business. I understand that there are delays and have been understanding. This is the second time where they have said that a delivery was coming and they did not show up. I took the day of work to be here for the delivery. When calling the representative from customer service said that all the items were back ordered and there was no deliver for today. Today I called Ashley to find out delivery window as I did not get a call yesterday or today. I also had a call on Sunday 6/26/22 from Ashley confirming the delivery for 6/28/22, she stated the only item not in stock was the dining table. I was sent a couple emails with a delivery date of 6/28/22. They said all the items were in stock and they would contact me to set up a delivery. I contacted customer service on 6/17 to request a partial delivery of the items that were at the warehouse. and the they would deliver those and the headboard and footboard, the missing nightstand, and the last chair. I was told that the side rails should arrive on June 7. Per the sales representative the items were in stock and were at the warehouse. The delivery people said the nightstand and the headboard and footboard we not in stock. We only received 7 of the 8 chairs, 1 nightstand and both dressers. ![]() We were told that we would be receiving all 8 of our dining chairs, both our nightstands, both dressers and headboard, footboard. We finally got a partial delivery on 5/26/22. We were told that it may take a month or two for delivery. We purchased our furniture on Feb 13, 2022.
